Shrew Bows Whisper String

By choosing the right string, up to 20% more energy can be transferred to the arrow. The Shrew Whisper String was developed by Ron LaClair and Henry Bodnik to ensure that the stored energy of the super high-performance Bodnik Bows and Shrew Bows is effectively transferred to the arrow. Arrow speed and penetration power are two key properties that are enhanced by our Shrew Whisper String.

Our high-performance string is a hybrid string made from three different materials. This special combination of materials also results in its whisper-quiet release sound. The Whisper String lives up to its name and is extremely quiet even without string silencers.

The Shrew Whisper String for recurves is 3″ shorter than the bow length, in accordance with the ATA standard. The upper string loop has a larger circumference to fit perfectly over the wider limbs of a recurve bow. This allows the string to be effortlessly slid over the limbs when unstringing the bow.
