Rental agreement

At Hood Archery, you can also rent bows. The rental period is 6 months at a time, and as a security measure, we require a deposit equal to the difference between the rental price and the purchase price. A backpack for safe storage and transport is also provided for a deposit. During the 6 months, you can exchange the limbs up to 3 times free of charge so that your muscles can get used to the movement, as experience shows that you will continue to build strength in the beginning. The standard market fee for this is €5 per exchange. If you decide to keep the bow afterwards, it is already paid for through the rent and deposit, and it becomes yours. The market standard here is to credit 25-50% of the rent. If you decide on a different bow afterwards, the rent and deposit will be credited towards the new bow.

Consumables such as arrows, finger and arm guards, as well as a quiver or a bow and arrow stand must be purchased if you do not already have them; these cost approximately €100 in total.
