Trial course

The taster course is aimed at absolute beginners who want to learn instinctive archery from the ground up – without prior knowledge, without overwhelming technical details, and without aiming aids.

To begin, you will receive a short theoretical introduction:
Why do we call it instinctive archery? What are the origins of this shooting style, and how does it differ fundamentally from modern, systematic archery? The historical background is kept intentionally concise to ensure we get to the practice quickly.

In the practical part, the shooting sequence is first demonstrated in a simplified form. We will then work together step-by-step to develop the movement sequence based on the phase-position model – from your stance and draw to the anchor point.

The focus here is not on accuracy, but on a clean, reproducible movement sequence and gaining an initial feel for the interaction between body, bow, and perception.
