The Hoodstyle3D is the result of genuine 3D course experience and consistent development. It combines the extreme slimness and stability of the Barracuda with the flexibility and tuning potential of the Partizan – forming a shaft that delivers exactly what ambitious traditional archers need in the 3D sector.

Alongside the Barracuda and Partizan, the Hoodstyle3D is the only shaft that bears the logo of Henry Bodnik personally. Not as a marketing label, but because this shaft was developed together – from the initial idea to the final product.

The perfect blend of two worlds

The Barracuda impresses with its extremely thin construction: the arrow's center lies very close to the bow window, stabilizes quickly, and offers enormous durability.
The Partizan scores with cross-woven carbon and the ability to fine-tune the dynamic spine using screw-in points and insert weights.

The Hoodstyle3D combines exactly these properties:

• Ultra-thin shaft for maximum proximity to the bow center
• Cross-woven carbon for high durability
• Full tuning freedom via inserts and points

Arrow physics that work on the course

Due to the slim construction, the archer's paradox is reduced, the arrow stabilizes faster in flight and leaves the bow more smoothly. Especially in 3D archery, this ensures greater consistency, a clean shot feel, and reproducible grouping.

0.204" inner diameter – Alpha compatible

With an inner diameter of 0.204", the Hoodstyle3D is compatible with proven Alpha components:

• Alpha nocks
• Alpha pin bushing systems
• Alpha glue-in points

Additionally available are specially developed, flush-fitting inserts:

• Aluminum insert 12.5 gr
• Break-off brass insert 50 / 75 / 100 gr

Straightness – realistic and practical

The Hoodstyle3D comes with a straightness of 0.006. In our experience – and also as recommended by Henry Bodnik personally – this tolerance is perfectly sufficient for the traditional sector and the 3D course.
