We use only genuine turkey feathers in the production of our natural feathers. Natural feathers are used by archers all over the world for building their arrows. Particularly in traditional archery, natural feathers are indispensable due to their beauty and excellent properties.
Arrows with 3-inch feathers are probably most frequently used in traditional archery for bows with lower draw weights and for youth arrows. This allows for higher arrow speeds even with lower draw weights.
4-inch feathers are probably the most commonly used in traditional archery. From low to high draw weights, archers prefer the shorter feathers to achieve higher arrow speed.
5-inch feathers are used in particular for arrows shot from powerful bows. They stabilize the arrow quickly and reliably. For the shield shape, we have opted for a flatter profile to perfectly combine stabilization and arrow speed.
