We use only genuine turkey feathers in the production of our Bearpaw natural feathers. Bearpaw feathers are used by archers all over the world to build their arrows. Especially in traditional archery, natural feathers are indispensable due to their beauty and excellent properties.
Arrows with 3-inch feathers are probably the most commonly used in traditional archery for bows with lower draw weights and for children's arrows. This allows for higher arrow speeds even with lower draw weights.
4-inch feathers are likely the most commonly used in traditional archery. From low to high draw weights, archers prefer these shorter feathers to achieve higher arrow speeds.
5-inch feathers are used particularly for arrows shot from high-performance bows. They stabilize the arrow quickly and reliably. For the Shield shape, we have used a flatter profile to perfectly combine stabilization and arrow speed.
