In the basic course, you will take your first steps in instinctive archery and place your first shots with the help of a simple 4-phase model. You will learn all the important fundamentals step by step according to the Archery Academy guidelines for the successful use of bow and arrow.
Of course, after each sub-step, you will immediately have sufficient time to practice and deepen what you have newly learned on our shooting ranges.
Since we activate back muscles during archery that we hardly use in everyday life, we will take short relaxation breaks in between. You are welcome to bring a small snack and drinks for the breaks.

Target audience:
Beginners as well as archers who want to learn instinctive archery correctly from scratch.
Also suitable for those switching from systematic or sighted archery who consciously seek a clean fresh start in instinctive shooting.
Requirements:
No requirements (minimum age approx. 12 years)
The basic course is also suitable for complete beginners.
Course content (brief overview):
- brief theoretical introduction to instinctive archery
- origins and basic principles of instinctive shooting
- demonstration of the shot sequence
- comprehensive development of the shot sequence based on the phase-position model
(stance, draw, focus, anchor, back tension, release, follow-through) - clear separation of technique training and accuracy practice
- a secure, comprehensible foundation for further training
Note:
The basic course replaces the previous foundation course.
In terms of content, it corresponds to the former foundation course and combines the trial course and supplementary course into one self-contained course unit.
