Zelos - Siren Archery

The Zelos is the second bow that Siren Archery has developed. Founded in the Netherlands in 2024 by Jaap Bolt and Simon van der Heijden, Siren Archery combines the passion for building bows and arrows that both have shared since childhood. Over the years, they have perfected their skills and developed into professional bowyers. After initially working independently, they increasingly shared their knowledge until they eventually joined forces.

The Zelos, named after the god of dedication and zeal, is the result of this collaboration. It has a more extreme recurve than standard fiberglass bows and, thanks to the specially developed multi-directional fiberglass, offers the stability that large recurves require. The draw remains pleasantly smooth up to 32 inches, and the low increase in draw weight at full draw minimizes the influence of draw length variations on the shot pattern. The large recurves not only improve the draw but also store a great deal of energy, allowing the Zelos to accelerate arrows at high speed.

Particularly impressive is the complete absence of hand shock. Even with very light arrows, the Zelos remains stable and shows only minimal vibration in the handle. Furthermore, the bow is exceptionally quiet, which indicates that the stored energy is transferred directly into the arrow rather than flowing back into the bow.
